My wife is going on Medicare in a couple of months and the out of pocket costs under the Part D plans she has been offered are pretty high. Is there a generic equivalent that costs less that she can look into? It's really helping her control her diabetes but the cost is concerning as we move into Medicare coverage and not my employer sponsored health plan.
