Yes, the active ingredients are the same.

Hello DINA T. Yes and no. It depends often upon the drug in question. Some generics are almost identical in its performance to the non generic. The FDA sets guide lines. That a generic must use 70% of the substance(s) that a non generic drug has. Some people do well on generics, other people do not. It depends on the individual and the drug in question.
