I isolate myself from family, I have no friends to talk to, and I can't sleep because my brain never seems to turn off. I am wxtremely worried all the time and cry a lot which gives me a migraine. I am suffering in silence, I need medication to help me control this constant worrying. Does anyone know of any place I can get help? I've seemed to try every place, there is nothing free out there? Thank you
Hi, I hope your feeling ok right now. To maybe answer your question, one possibility would be to ask your pharmacy and/or your Doctor if he or she knows estimated prices on anti anxiety medications in your area. Years ago I did not have insurance for a bit and was put on Valium and ppaid for it just fine and I didn't make a whole lot of money working then. But offhand my advice is to just ask prices, tell your pharmacy why you are asking and take it from there. Feel better Mikcol123. -GreenMommy
You didn't mention what medication you are on. If you know what company produces the medication then call them. Most drug companies have reduced payment programs even to the point of free medications. Usually you have to apply and within 30 days you could have all the meds you need for a year. Ask your physician if he would be willing to qualify you. If not most drug companies still will provide you with the application forms. Also ask your doctor for samples almost all doctors keep a sample supply closet. There is also the township trustee who usually provides for a month worth of medications, while you get another system set up. If you belong to a church and sometimes even if you don't, there are many churches that will pay for your medications. Please do not go without... this will help no one. If you have a St. Vincent De Paul agency in your town they also provide for medications. Please let us know if you are able to get them. Good luck mikcol123.
I am not a doctor but you can go to a health foods store such as whole foods and buy valerian root pills, kava kava and theanine to help you with anxiety. Please not all at the same time. They are all natural supplements...
Also try herbal teas which have St Johns wort... Just some suggestions...
