... taking xanax for over a year..I also have been diagnosed with dystonia which is similar to parkinsons..I forget things all the time and can relate to anyone with anxiety. It is frustrating since other people don't understand and can just deal with stress..I feel like the only person who feels this way. I have misplaced my xanax and I am going thru major withdrawl. I cannot refill my prescription for 3 more days and don't know how to get by... Someone please help me find a way to get thru this
Relax and take a deep breath. Maybe you can find the xanax in a little while after you take a break.
When did you take your last dose? Where were you when you took it?
How much xanax are you use to taking?
I wish I could make the withdrawls go away but you are going to have to be strong until you get through this.
Keep posting and letting us know how you are doing,
Hi Kristina, Believe me, you are not the only person who feels this way. Anxiety, stress, awful conditions to deal with. It's more common than you may think. We DO understand. My personal and physical problems have added to the anxiety to a point where I it's hard to just walk out the door. It's a feeling of almost falling off a cliff, rapid heart beat, dizziness, feeling like you might faint sometimes. Each one of us have different issues that add to it and make it worse. So something that may seem unimportant to one person, the one who has to deal with it, when they already suffer from anxiety, makes it feel like a weights been added on your shoulders. So what? You lost a few pills, what the big deal waiting 3 days? That's how people who "haven't been there" think. They do NOT understand but we do!
Laurie had a good suggestion, without sounding accusatory, ask family members if they might have seen the pills. Not to scare you, but it can be dangerous stopping these meds cold turkey. If it gets too bad, go to the er and explain the situation. There's also a chance the pharmacy may fill them a few days early too. I know my valium has been filled a few days ahead of time. It all depends on the insurance company and the pharmacist. Hang in there, Kristina, it will work out,
