and posted one comment and I cannot figure out how to win friends and fans can someone please enlighten me please Thank you Angela1227
I think as with anything in life, it just takes time. This board is mostly geared for information to medication and how it relates to disease. Make sure you are in support groups that you have interest. If you want to friend someone, click on their profile
When I see a friend request, I answer all of them with the same
Most of the people I "know" don't hang out here but check it a few times daily
As in regular life people have to protect themselves from harm and drama
Hang in there... Now that you have let the board know that you need friends, I am sure people will look out for you
Angela, I'm adding you to my friends list. When you see that I've added you, just in turn, add me to your friends list. I've been on DC on and off for about 2 years. Until I started adding people to my friends list and answering more posts, I didn't get but 1 or 2 friend requests. On this site many, many people sign on and ask one question and then never sign on again. So, there's not much use in adding everybody who signs on. I'm so happy that you will be one of our "regulars" and a member of the DC family. This is a great, great site where we are honestly caring and supportive of one another. Welcome to the family!
If you find that you have something in common with someone's questions and answers you may want to friend them. Then if they friend you, you will see any questions they ask and can respond. For me if a person has a profile written and I have something in common I will accept their friendship. It will make it easier if you fill out your profile so people can see what you are like. If a person does not fill it out I don't know much about them and will not accept friendship unless I find something interesting in their questions and answers. Welcome to the site!
