did i mention i have depression as well, i forgot to add that, i was too depressed to think to.
Starting out with a low dose and titrating up will help avoid some of the side effects. Just remember that most of what you notice in the beginning will subside in time on the Lexapro. It takes upwards of a month to feel full effects so be patient. Lexapro is a good choice for anxiety and depression. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and keep your follow up appointments. You'll feel better if you do.
So, you're willing to take direction from strangers rather than your Dr? Not good, tll the Dr you posted this and follow the instructions you get, that is who knows what is best for you. The meds will help you as will confidence in your Dr, a zillion differing subjective opinions will only serve to increase your anxiety.
I have taken xanax for about 20 years for ptsd. Later diagnosed with depression iwent from one to next and so on i was a walking suicidal zombie. Try welbutrin if that doesnt work trash that garbage.Give it time to exit your system then have a serious talk with your doctor if you have to talk with a psychiatrist see what they can offer.Best of luck
