can't say I notice any change do I need to try something else or increase dosage ??? I take mirapex for my RLS and gabapentin for the diabetic neurophothy in my feet and legs
When I was on a 300mg dose three times a day. I seen little to no change in my back and leg pain due to a fall from a second story ladder. Upon telling my doctor this he increased me to 600mg three times a day. This did bring my pain level down. And three months after the last jump they jumped me up to 900mg three times a day. Most of my pain went away. But after being at this dose for six months I have seen a list of side effects that I'm dealing with. Be safe and do your research well before taking any new medication or uping your dose. Not all people see these side effects that I'm going through, but when they do it is very unpleasant. Good luck my friend. Get better soon.
If your diabetic neuropathy isn't being helped by your current dose of gabapentin, it's time for an increase of dose. You have a lot of room for an increase and that just may be the answer for you. It's time to put the ball in the Dr's. court and call him or her. I hope you're doing better soon.
