You need to go into either your PC doctor or a specialist such as a rheumatoid arthritis specialist, there is an 18 point check they do to test you for a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Usually most of us sufferers have chronic, widespread pain not just in one area.
All the topics you list are synonymous with fibromyalgia, but you do need to be diagnosed as the last poster by a Rheumatologist. You regular doc can do it too, but a rheumatologist has more experience in treating it... Mary
Groin pain and restless leg syndrome ARE listed as some of the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. And... Gabapentin has helped me tremendously with the pain. I call it my "linebacker" when it comes to my 3-med cocktail of pain medications.
