... has anyone heard of this before?
Thank U :)
Hi Tink45, I was on Gabaprntin for 3 years. It prescribed (Off Label )As A mood stabilizer. It is usually for nerve pain. Seemed to work Ok for me. give it a try. The only thing is you have to taper off very slowly when you stop that drug. I had no problems tapering off at all . Good luck Dave.
Clonipin is a short acting Benzo, 2 chloro 1 benzodiazapam (chlorinated valium, also called clonazapam) I was on Zanax for 10 YEARS and tried quitting many times, its methylated valium, finally after life threatening withdrawals called "long term alprazolam withdrawal syndrome" An E.R. Doctor told me all I had to do was switch to a long acting low psychotropic effect Benzo, the original that all the others are made from (including the illegal "RUFFIES" Ruhipnol, the date rape drug, which is fluorinated valium, 2 flouro 1 benzodiazapam.) so my shrink switched me to valium and within a month I could take it or leave it. and I left it with no problem! If you want off ANY short acting valium derivative just switch to 10 mg valium a couple times a day for a month, you will find you are no longer dependent and can stop all together. I wish I had known this 5 years in, but it took the "long term withdrawal disorder" and a trip to the E.R. to find out something my shrink didn't even know. See once you've taken the much stronger than valium Clonipin so long, valium will have little or no "head" to it, and you can stop without any withdrawals. I wish this was a well known method, many people could benefit from knowing this.
