I have been prescribed gabapentin 100mg at night for night day sweats does this really work as I am a bit unsure to take them as I work full time and believe they may make you tied but if this works I can cope with the tiednes
First of all, everyone's body reacts differently to different things. That being said... First, 100mg is a VERY low dose(i take 3600mg/day) your body will eventually not be as drowsy. It took me a couple weeks to readjust every time they increased it. Now here is the bad news... I'm taking 3600mg/day for fibromyalgia I've been on it for about 10 years and I have recently(in the past month or so) started experiencing night sweats and hot flashes... And I'm 31.
Sorry I couldn't b more helpful.
Yea I have day and night sweats it might be both
I am also taking it for night sweats. For me, 100 mg doesn't do much. 300 helps, but 400 it better.
I went to my friends house after not seeing her in cpl weeks I noticed a big difference in her I asked her what do they have u on she said my normal stuff so I went thru her purse then I went into her room to get her clothes she was very sick and found a bottle of gabapentin she said oh that's for my circulation my son took it away from me he said it made me act weird she said she hasn't took it in a week I wrote the name down and Google it. It's for severe epileptic seizures pain circulation all kinds of different things.I told her stop taking it. Then my manager got a script for it I stressed to her not to take it but she did she couldn't do our banks anymore or any of her work my boss had to let her go she didn't have close family members to tell her it was making her confused a totally different person.
She came in 2 months later going thru thr drawers in the office like she still worked there I know everyone is different but how do they make a pill for so many different things. I read on Internet for an hour when I found it in my friends room it said u have to wear a name tag stating u take it so if something happens the doctors know because it's dangerous to just stop u can have seizures like I said everyone is different a customer told me she took it for a month after her surgery and was fine I didn't see her at that time
