... some research
Seems like your question got cut off. gabapentin is good for neuropathic nerve pain. I have intercostal neuralgia. You can take up to 3600 mg is prescribed and if you can take the side effects.
Talk to a doctor. There may be muscle problems or something else from the surgery. It could even be something else which is coincidentally in the same area.
Or it could be scar tissue building up. Go to your doctor and get an x-ray or
exam or both. Don't let this go by the
wayside - it's important to your health. Good luck and god bless you,
I had a bilateral mastectomy 8 years ago.
I noticed the sensation about 3 years later.
My oncologist made it seem that it was a good thing. The nerves were growing and that would give me feeling again.
Wishing you well...
I took Gabapentin for years. My Dr changed it to Lyrica (Pregabalin). It hasn't made much difference at all.
