Gabapentin is licensed for use in epilepsy and neuropathic (nerve) pain. It has many other "off label" (non-approved) uses.

Hi Joe,
Just a thought, it's prescribed not only for nerve pain and seizures but for fibromyalgia. Some kids use it to get a stoned, dizzy feeling though it's a rare med to abuse, it does happen.
Best wishes to you,
Lara

It would cause real problems as a recreational drug. The side effects would be very harsh. Dose is based upon weight initially. It could be overdosed. Not to be played around with.
