... can I do without going to the ER. She is depressed and her kids Birthdays are today and she can"t see them, I walked in her room because I heard a crash. I didn't"t see her fall. But when she got up she told me she was okay. That there was nothing I can do. She is getting up and down to the bathroomand vomiting.. Now she is laying down. Told me there is nothing iI can do or nothing she can drink or eat. This is all in one hour"s time. Is there anything I can do
No, this is unacceptable.
If she is a patient who is stable and knows how to control episodes like this when they happen through the use of medical intervention, then she needs to implement them now, and you need to watch her do it. It does not, however, sound as though she is okay.
If she has another seizure, she can choke on her tongue and be deprived of oxygen, and the same thing can happen if she vomits while lying down.
This is a medical emergency.
