... given 3 yrs to live without it. Does anybody know of any harvoni studies in Baltimore Maryland. Or do they they still exist. This is heartbreaking. It was put thru insurance again and was turned down again.
Do you mean his insurance stopped paying for the script & thus he lost it? (I hope so) Because honestly this is the most expensive medication in the world right now. I don't mean this to sound harsh, truly, but how can you lose an entire bottle? A bottle that is worth over $33,000! This prescription is like Willy Wonka's golden ticket. Except he wasn't going to die if he didn't get the factory in the end. We will if we don't get our golden ticket... So there's that. I guard this bottle w/ my life because it literally IS my life. I'm sorry but I really am confused.
That being said, this isn't like a prescription of cough syrup. They can't just refill it w/ great ease, unfortunately. Plus they know the treatment cycle, which is vital to be kept consecutive, has been broken. They'd have to start right back from the beginning by this point. And again this is an extremely expensive medication. So the likelihood of them spending the extra money is slim to none. I'm very sorry this happened but I'm highly doubtful that insurance will cover more of the golden pill.
