Susan3447l You are far from alone I have seen many people that are allergic to scents of many kinds the best you can do is ask some people who have allergies how they go to. Or ask the hospital on their staff who is the best doctor for this. I am serious They have many tests as you know. And also things you can do to help such as shots, many medications that can help prior to being exposed to the scents that are bothering you. Also ask the doctor about an Inhaler too to help and be able to use right away as you are exposed to something and try it prior to having to take the Epi Pen shot. There are answers follow the advice if this doctor is not helping find a better one Chuck1957
Yes I do... it's actually a hypersensitivity bc it's airborne as well as contact for me. I get hives and blisters if not treated right away- head to toe... flushed/hot in temp.. my face gets hard.. very annoying. I see an allergist a few times a year and they do tests on me. Best thing is to stay away... if that isn't an option wear loose fitting clothing. Liquid Benadryl and a cold shower are my go to and then a nap... I hate the epipen and avoid as much as I can.
