... absolutely will NOT heal. The Practice Director refused to do the surgery, stating "this referral does not meet our criteria for acceptance". The muscular atrophy, so far, is up to my elbow due to the splint and 5 weeks of non-use. I spent the better part of 15 years (in the past) with tendon problems in my hands, so I know how to rehab. With my finger still broken & in pain, though, I can't do anything. Anyone have any ideas of how to stop the atrophy from spreading, keeping in mind the finger is still broken? (We won't even discuss how it's affecting the Biploar). Help?
