I have found one threadworm(at least I think it's a threadworm) in my underwear, i have had no other symptoms so should I be concerned?? It was tiny and was shocked to see it was moving. I have had digestive issues since September 2015 with frequent diarrhoea but that has seemed to calm down. THis is the first time I have seen one
Absolutely yes you should be concerned. You must be riddled with mature worms and their eggs and larvae if they are leaking from your anus.
Cats are a common mode of transport for worms to spread to humans.
Just go to the pharmacy and ask for a packet of all worm tabs and make sure that yours (threadworms) are included. Go home and READ the instructions before you take them and you should be fine.
