It's a small round yellow pill with Z P L on one side and 10 on the other.
Found this pill on my oldest sons floor?

Thanks but I found out what it was
Look in the Physicians Desk Reference. You can find a copy of this at a university library and most likely your city library. It is also accessible online although there may be a fee.
Ask a local pharmacist.
And finally, the 10 is the dose and the ZPL is the manufacturer.
Of course you could have found it here: https://www.drugs.com/imprints.php?imprint=Z+P+L+10&color=13&shape=0
Zolpidem tartrate - sleeping pill.
