its for her pain I cant find anything on it anywhere its a light pink oblong pill one side says 20 the other side either says OXN or NXO if anyone knows what this is please tell me before she trys to take it. thanks in advance
I'm not coming up with anything. If she doesn't have the bottle for it I'd call the pharmacy she uses and get a list of the medication she is on. Medications can be a nightmare with older people. Some don't know what they are on or why. They just take one of each every morning.
Hello, the pill in question is:
Targin 20 mg Controlled release tablets.
Each pink, oblong, controlled release tablet with a film coating, marked "OXN" on one side and "20" on the other contains 20 mg oxycodone hydrochloride and 10 mg naloxone hydrochloride. Nonmedicinal ingredients: tablet core: ethylcellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, povidone K30, stearyl alcohol, and talc; tablet coating: opadry II pink, iron oxide red (E172), polyethylene glycol (Macrogol 3350), polyvinyl alcohol, talc, and titanium dioxide (E171).
This combination is used to treat moderate to severe pain in adults who require 24-hour pain relief for several days or more.
