its on my right side, and a few years ago i got hit by a car and then just recently at the beginning of last month i started getting headaches, but they got worst by the end of last month they got worst so i went to my doctor and had an MRI done and found out at the beginning of this week that i had it i just wanted to know what could have caused being at it isnt in my family history and i dont have a history of headaches.
Hello jmix56 and welcome to DC. At the time of your last accident did they do an MRI? Trauma to the brain can show up way later, too. That part isn't surprising. Perhaps the good news is that symptoms started showing up and you didn't ignore them... you went to the doctor seeking answers. It is impossible to say exactly what caused it...
Is surgery in the picture??? Is it something that can be "drained"? It might not be so terrible if they lay out for you what your options are. I hope they do that so you don't drive yourself nuts thinking about all the "whys" and "wherefores" about it.
Is there any way to "shrink" it? Lots of questions and I apologize in advance. I hope whatever decision you make that you feel comfortable with your doctor and they treat you very well and keep you informed.
Be well and take good care of you.
