My daughter has had seizures since she was 7 months old, she is now 15. We have had great results with Keppra, in fact seizure free for two years. However about four months off the meds and she had a seizure, now we are back on with Keppra and seizure free again for a little over a year now. The scary part is now she is of age to get her driver's permit/license. This scares me but I know she will have to confront life eventually with out me... so anyone with kids that had to go through this out there?
I 39 years old. I was on keppra for 4 years and seizure free. Had seizures for 10 years before that and refused meds. Eventually i began keppra. Ive been driving ever sinse. My doctor told me after beginning keppra to wait six months in order to see if i would seizure before i drove. I waited and ive been seizure free sinse taking it. I drive all the time. I hope this is helpful. God be with you both.
