What foods stop Restless Legs Syndrome?
Foods and rls. I have had rls for years! Exposed to raw drug in research and delopment at a pharmaceutical company, lived in farming community so fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and petroleum products and derivatives added to rls. However, keeping a STRICT diary of everything I eat, drink and exploded to has improved my rls tremendously.
Eat only organic food, nothing out of a can, package, or bottle. No processed foods, including fast foods! Read the labels of everything one small ingredient can trigger rls. Vinegar or fermented foods can trigger rls. Drugs and supplements can trigger it even from manufacturer.
I drink water only out of glass bottles, plastic out gases petroleum. There are of course new govt codes to regulate the out gassing of plastic but beware. Even household cleaning products, laundry soap, fabric softener can trigger rls.
I may sound like a crazy person and main stream doctors may not agree but try my suggestions and you may have less or perhaps eliminate rls.
I have other suggestions but what I have written may put you on the road to controllable rls. By doing the above suggestions. I look 20 years younger than my classmates, eat anything and as much as I want and maintain a my weight no more ups and down on the scale. No bloating Etc. Not to mention rls only happens if I'm on a plane breathing recirculated air, given a medication that has one tiny ingredient that bothers my rls, may be over the counter. Just keep written diary and review routinely and you may see a pattern. Good luck!
