You do not need to avoid any foods. You need to avoid changing your diet. The green veges have vit K and that can affect clotting, but you can eat them as long as its always the same amount. Your dose is figured on your diet that way.
A good site to use as a resource is www.coumadin.com. Under the patient section they list vitamin K containing foods and how much K is in each serving so that you can coordinate your diet. It is a common misconception that you can't eat Vitamin K containing foods. This is not true. Those foods are nutritious and you need them in your diet. You just have to be consistent with them so that your coumadin dose can be adjusted accordingly. The problem comes in when you eat a large amount of K containing foods, then suddenly stop or vice versa.
