tablets i think they refer to. If i got a bottle of benadryl syrup would i need to take the whole bottle for it to work? Not that i would im just wondering if the syrup works or do i need the tablets. Also, does Methadone mask menopause symptoms? Thanks Dc family.
Don't take the whole bottle of syrup. To ensure that you get a correct dose, measure the liquid forms of Benadryl with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not with a regular tablespoon. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist where you can get one.
Never take more of Benadryl than is prescribed for you. The maximum amount of diphenhydramine that you should take in any 24-hour period is 300 mg.
Read the bottle and follow the directions.
And I doubt methadone will cover up menopause symtoms. Menopause symptoms are caused by a hormonal change not related to the opiate receptors in your body.
I've never even considered Benadryl syrup! I've always thought of the tablets, or referred to tabs when writing about benadryl. Sorry bout that.
Have your hormones checked, by blood work. Tis easy and almost painless.
May I be so rude as to enquire your age? If not, tis ok gurl.
I'm nearing 37 and I seem to be having some pre-menopausal symptoms myself, can you share your symptoms?
Best wishes skins,
Hi, Laurie and Sweet Lemon have already given you great advice, i just wanted to add that i have taken 'Nightnurse' in the past (to help me sleep), which contains paracetamol, promethazine, dextromethorphan. I took the syrup and found it quite effective. Not to be taken long term but short term is fine. Again, make sure you take the correct dosage. And i agree with Laurie regarding the menopause symptoms and methadone.
