Have been taking 10mgs of fluoxatine for almost 5 wks, tonight started 20mgs. When should I start to feel a difference? Do I have to wait another 5 wks for the 20s to kick on or will it work sooner since I've been on 10?
You will feel better before the 5 weeks. You should start feeling better within a week or two. If you don't feel better by then I suggest you call your doctor as you may need another increase on your dose or possibly you may need to try another medication if this one doesn't help you.
U won't have to wait another 5 weeks. U should start feeling a difference soon. I just started taking 20 mgs of Proxic/fluoxetine myself. I was also on 10 mgs first. But I've taken this before, off n on for over 20 years n from my own experience it's worked well for me.It can be different for each of Us,what works for one might not work got another. Be hopeful + think positive, that makes s big difference with everything. Please give Us an update on how it's going for U? And remember you're not alone! :)
