ITs been 20 days on fluoxetine 20 mg, I do feel a difference, but I'm not 100%, I have feelings of guilt sometimes, and hopelessness, is this the anxiety I suffer from, or the fluoxetine?? Should I give it more time? Thanks for any of your comments❤️
Feelings of guilt and hopelessness often go hand and hand with depression. Especially the hopelessness. Give the fluoxetine more time to banish these symptoms. It can take as much as 6-8 weeks for the full effects for some people, but you may be fine before then. Guilty feelings may need counseling because they might be due to inappropriate guilt you shouldn't be carrying around. Sometimes depression is caused by the way we think, and not by body chemistry being out of whack. Either way, a good counselor can be a great help.
Hopeful; Yes continue you have not even reached the normal blood level yet. And remember these feelings you are having are very normal But in time they also should go away. these are normal many times when we take these type of medication our symptoms get worse before they get better.Keep the hope going
