I am using flurouracil on the top of my hands. I apply with an applicator and wash my fingers with soap and water after application. How long should I wait after each application before I use water on the affected area? I use it once early in the am after I wash my face and late in the day. I take a shower every night and do not want to wear the cream at because I'm afraid I may touch my face or eyes in my sleep. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I suggest you take you shower as soon as you come home, early evening, and apply the FU after you are dry. Keep on several hours to allow it to absorb.
I use the cream on the backs of my hands. I use a towel on my pillow, my fingers are clean of product.
Changing to a morning shower would solve the timing problem.
