I have a continuing problem with fungus infections in my esophagus and the doctor put me on a fluconazole 200mg for 3 months. Is it ok to take it that long.
I have been taking 400mg for 5 months and I have another month to go and if this severe fungal infection isn;t gone I will be taking it even longer. They dropped me down to 200mg a few weeks ago because it has been making me so sick. I am trying to find other people like me who have a chronic fungal infection and are on long term use fluconazole, how do they feel? Did they feel better when they quit taking it? I have a fungal infection in my knee, it really stems from a new multiple sclerosis therapy that I had 2 years ago. I was on 200mg of fluconazole for 3 months last year. It's getting very hard to fight this and even though my medical records show a big improvement, I feel like I am getting worse and worse. Is there anyone out there like me? If so I would love to communicate with you. Bluejay63 how are you feeling?
