... forinef from. 1 to. 2. I am nervous. Any words of wisdom?
Don't be nervous. You can always stop it as florinef does not have to be tapered down. What I have found in 2 years is that meds get juggled up and down. I have been on and off different doses of florinef and ,midodrine and toprol, sounds weird, but whatever combo works at the time. You can:
1) take 0.2mg as prescribed, or ask MD about
2)alternate .1 one day and .2 the next (not my favorite, consistency is always best) or
3) go to .15mg per day.
Very very important when you are juggling florinef, be sure (measure) that your fluid intake is exactly the same every day (fluid includes anything liquid at room temperature, ice cream, jello, soups) AND your salt intake is exactly the same every day (measure portions and read labels). Otherwise you won't know if the florinef is working or if you were just eating more salt. Good luck
