This happens every so often when I have an enema in the morning. It's just regular tap water with luke warm water.
I start getting very cold & I can see my skin going pale and dark circles appear under my eyes (purplish), my lips go a purple pale colour, as do my finger tips slightly and I get purplish blotches all over my skin. I feel I need to breathe deeply to make sure I'm getting enough oxygen to my brain and the rest of my body, as it feels that it isn't getting enough oxygen, it's so strange. I sometimes have slight palpitations too. It passes after about an hour or so. Any idea what this could be? Thanks.

sounds like you might be having an allergic reaction to either the latex in the enema nozzle or a reaction to using tap water in the enema

What is the reason for having to have a Fleetz enema every morning?
It seems as though it isn't good for you.
Go see your doctor and ask him your question, describing it in detail. Perhaps he can do something for you.
I hope so. God bless and good luck.
Trish
Thanks for your answers! Not sure if I'm allergic, it would happen every time if I was? I don't have an enema every morning, i'm not sure what a fleetz enema is, I just have a regular one every so often, maybe 1-2 a week. I'm thinking maybe it's electrolyte imbalance or a bit of leaky gut that hasn't healed fully? Not sure
yes it could be an electrolite balance too
Are you troubled with constipation? If this is the reason for the Fleet enema - why not consider taking MIRALAX - it is
easy to take, and will work for you without any problems.
Just a suggestion.
God bless.
Trish
ive tried mira lax ,never worked for me
enemas and suppositories are best
Okay. I still think you should see your doctor to see what is making you ill.
Good luck,
Trish
i have severe constipation,impacted colon,and anal fissures
Oh, God! You really have it bad.
What do you think you should do about this?
Perhaps a specialist would be able to help you - or do you think that you are too far gone? I mean, not to hurt you, but to
stress that you need to see someone who can help you with your individual problems.
God bless you and may He find a way to help you.
Good luck,
Trish
poor diet and not having BMs for 3 to 5 days since my teens
Then by all means, change your diet. Some salads with tomatoes and whatever else you like. Also, eat good green vegs.
Chicken and fish (not fried) oven baked or sauteed. A piece of red meat from time to time. If you are not eating right, then
you can expect to have the problems you are having. It's up to you to get yourself out of this predicament. No candies or
Potato chips or brownies or cup cakes or donuts. Beans can be good for you also - just look on line - I have just discovered
that I have diabetes (I'm going to be 75 July 17 - and I have changed my diet - you can look up "foods for the diabetic" on
the Internet and go for some of what they recommend - it can't hurt - and it can help. Your anal fissures are due to your
compacted bowel, etc. I should think that changing your diet (no sodas or sugary drinks) will help you in the long run.

These are suggestions to you - I hope you take them as they are intended, and don't think I'm being hard on you. I have
a 52 year old son who has had trouble with his BM's since he was two years old - when he eats right he "goes." When he
doesn't he pays the price - which is what you are doing to yourself. I still think you should see a specialist and get an
examination, and ask him about diet. I wish you all the luck the world has to give you and I hope that you will be feeling
better soon.
God bless you, patrickaloysius.

I didn't mean to call you patrickaloysius - flowergirlxo. Good luck to you and I'm sure you'll take the advice of the people
on this panel that you will be feeling like a new woman again, it may take awhile, but it will be worth it.
Trish :)
the only cure for me was my moms mineral oil enemas once a week from age 13 to 20
