Hello acknotts & welcome to the site. I am sorry no one has answered your question before now. I am giving you a link below to read about this drug Flecainide. Since it's been some time since you posted your question, am curious if they did start you on this anti-arrythmic drug or not. I also have A-Fib, & take a beta blocker to slow my heart rate & stop the skipped beats. I take atenolol 50mg., & it works quite well. It sounds to me like you could use a complete workup by a good cardiolotgist to make sure there is nothing else going on with your heart. They would be the best to jusdge what medication you should be on. A rate of 120 is not that serious. My was up to 150 all the time, & my doctor said it was still not that dangerous, but just made me feel like my heart was going to pop right out of my chest. I know how scarey this feeling is, but getting to the cause of it is more important than just treating the symptoms. Mine is caused from a congenital problem & a prolapsed mitral vavle. The leak I have is not serious enough to have open heart surgery as of yet, & hopefully never is! I wish you the best & hope you have found the cause of your fastheatbeat. Please give us an update as to how you are doing & again apologize for not getting to your question sooner... https://www.drugs.com/cdi/flecainide.html
