This is my first time using birth control. I put the nuvaring in on the first day of my last cycle, and my doctor said I should take it out after three weeks to have my period, but that is going to be my honeymoon week! Even though it's only the first cycle, would it be ok to leave it in for four weeks and then put the new ring in to skip the cycle altogether?
