I took the first pill on the first day of my period. I want to see my boyfriend, and that's why I am wondering when it should start.
It is supposed to start anywhere in the 4th week of pills, so anywhere from day 22 to Day 28 when you are on the green tablets. Those are the inert or inactive (sugar pills) or "reminder" pills. Since there is not active hormone in these, this is the week you get your withdrawal bleed or "period" Most women average getting their period by the 3rd or 4th inactive pill but it can vary in each woman and may vary slightly even month to month. However, if this is your very first month, your body is still getting used to the hormones so it may or may not follow this pattern-your period may come earlier. Some girls are regular right away and some take a few months so it is really hard to say. Eventually it will come somewhere during the 4th week (for Mononessa that is the green pills) so anywhere from day 22 to day 28 most months. Dont alter the way you take your pills though since you have already started no matter what your body does. If you start bleeding during the active pills, just keep taking them as they come in the pack-finish all the active blue tablets and take all the green ones too then start your new pack when it is due, even if you havent finished your period. You dont want to alter this because it can decrease the effectiveness to alter the way you take them.
