I started my period tosay, but I have had very little bleeding to what I am used to. The right side of my labia is also slightly swollen and uncomfortable. A white clump has discharged out of me today, and I have had a clear sticky liquid mixed with the blood all day. In fact it has been more of the clear liquid than blood. Any ideas?
Do you inspect things this closely all the time? When you are on hormonal birth control your periods get lighter and shorter because part of the action the med takes is to decrease uterine lining. With out that there is nothing to "bleed". You just have some mucous in with the blood.
