I used trinessa for a year, then stopped for a year, and I got back on it last month. I did not wait 7 days to have unprotected sex. I finished my pack, I'm on my 3r inactive pill, and had unprotected sex. Help?
If you started your first dose on Day 1 of your period, the first day you bled, then you were okay to have sex and were protected immediately. If you started the first pill on ANY other day than Day 1 like the first Sunday after you started, then you were not protected those first seven days and if you had sex then, it IS possible to have gotten pregnant no matter how perfectly you took them! There is a reason they tell you to wait! Having sex while on he inactive pills in inconsequential. Once you are protected, you are protected even while on the inactive pills. It is the sex in the first seven days that is concerning. You may yet start your cycle. Chances are better that you didnt get pregnant than they are that you did! So try not to stress and see if it shows up. It may not show up the first days of inactives , it can even show up on the very last day so you may still start. If the week goes by and you dont see any signs of bleeding, go ahead and do a test.
