its a yellow and white capsule with no markings and was told its 300mg gabapentin and I cant find it on here anywheres so I'm worried that it's not gabapentin 300mg and that it's something else Can someone please help me find out thanks
My Gabapentin reads, "Gabapentin Caps 300mg Mfg:Gen - Source RX," one capsule 3 times daily. The color of my tablets have always been Yellow with a marking of "D 03" with the "D" printed on one half of the capsule and the "03" printed on the other half of the capsule. That's just my brand (GEN-SOURCE RX, incorporated in 2001, provides powerful distribution & pharmacy marketing programs), so I guess others could look different. I hope this helps.
My Gabapentin (Neurontin) 300MG Cap is a yellow capsule with a "D" on the top part and a "O3" or "03" underneath. I do not know the manufacturer.
My Horizant Er (extended release) Tabs 30's 600mg manufactured by Xenoport is a long white tablet with the letters "GS LFG" written across the tablet (also called Gabapentin, but states it is different from the 300mg Capsules).
My doctors ordered the 300mg caps 3X a day for years for nerve pain due to both chronic back pain and more recently a pinched nerve in my lower back. When pinched nerve became really bad, the 600mg Er Tabs were added in the evening around 5:00 pm and the 3X a day 300mg cap was lowered to 1X in the morning.
I'm in full agreement with the person that stated this is a prescription medicine ordered by a doctor for you; NEVER take a medicine prescribed for someone else.
I hope this helped. I'm available for additional questions. Be blessed.
