I found two pills in my son's room. They are small, round, a light beige and have R20 printed on them. I've searched on here to no avail, however, I found my medications on here and they don't look like the picture at all. I'm in Canada so it may be different.
As you are in Canada it is very difficult to id the pill in the U.S., I suggest you take the pill to your local pharmacy, perhaps the Pharmacist may be able to help you id the pill, or the other alternative is ask your son directly.
Have a look at this image (just in case): https://www.drugs.com/imprints/r-20-15717.html
I know it's been a few yrs since u posted the question but I felt I should sign up and submit the answer in hopes that you've already found out but if not, to put your mind at ease. If the pill only had R20 in black on one side and not R20/3 or something on other side than it is a PPI. Basically it's an Inhibitor for moderate to severe anti acid reflux, GERD or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. And very bad heartburn. Check out what it can't be combined with though, and it also reduces vitamin B12 and can cause other vitamin deficiencies as well. Hope you get this and hope it's helpful.
