I've just started on my journey of changing my gender from male to female and I need the best possible advice as I don't want to end up with a DVT or something similar which would cause me to end up in hospital x
Talk to your doctor. If you're not legally an adult yet, you might need parent's approval and support.
If you don't want to go to a doctor first, look online for a transgender support group near to where you live.
If you're legally an adult, you don't need anybody's approval or support. I would still check with a TG support group near your home.
The main benefit of talking to a TG support group is that you're most likely going to be talking to people who have been in the same place you are. That means you can get genuine help and information about doctors including TG support clinics who are willing to have patients who have "informed consent".
It's not such a good idea asking here because you can't guarantee that anybody who answers actually has a clue about transitioning at all.
