... been seeing a naturalist. I still am having problems with pain and my nodes are still swollen any suggestions?
PJ, sorry for your thyroid issues. What kind of tests have you had? During a routine blood test in 2oo6 by my rheum, it was discovered my serum calcium was elevated. My rheum ordered a more detailed test which started my 1 1/2 yr journey with my thyroid. After numerous tests 2 noncancerous adenomas were found in my thyroid. My thyroid was removed along with 3 of 4 of my parathyroid glands. Pain and endless issues ensued. I feel that the thyroid plays a major part in fibro issues. Malfunction in the thyroid and fibro have so many similar symptoms. Best advice is to get several opinions and do thorough research online. Removing your thyroid is a big deal and it's removal has far reaching consequences. Be sure to read the article "Before you have thyroid surgery". It has so many things you must know before even considering surgery. The thyroid is like a master control over so many important bodily functions and when it's out of whack so many other things go out of control. Pain from fibro and osteoarthritis has increased. That's at least my finding. Hope you find answers. It is a long journey.
