..but my dr said that it is very rare for it to go into the hands. does any body have it in their hands
My hands were one of the first places I began to feel it because I was doing transcription work. I thought it was carpal tunnel except it wasn't in my thumb and first two fingers. I couldn't lift anything heavy (like a cast iron skillet) without dropping it or push open a door without pain. Of course, all the tests my doctor ran came back negative. That was the beginning of the endless tests and search (on my part) to figure out what was happening to me. I agree with the others... your doctor is trying to tell you in a round-about way that you are imagining it, or he's just a plain loser. Find a good rheumatologist.
Hello Moonangel. Fibromyalgia (FM) does not generate pain but it does make what is causing the pain worse, widespread and prolonged, this it can radiate pain to anywhere on your body. With a little more information on the type of pain you are getting in your hands I or someone else may be able to help further.
