... their feet? My doctor told me to increase my calcuim and to take Vitamin D with this so that my body absorbs this mineral much better.I take 1200 mg of calium a day w/the vitamin D. Any one else??
You might also try increasing your potassium intake along with your magnesium intake. Lack of potassium can cause your calves to cramp. Bananas and baked potatoes are good sources of potassium. Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant. I take magnesium supplements along with my calcium and Vit D supplements. I find it helps with muscle spasms.
are you on opioids? long term use of them can cause that too. no one likes to hear that, i refused to believe it for 3 years, and docs wont tell you that. I was weeks away from getting implant in my back to control my leg pain & spasams. as my life went down hill so quickly, couldnt do steps, couldnt even have someone walk past me without feeling the vibration, ie. pain, in my legs. i decided to detox, 3months, at home to see what condition my body was in before i put this permanent thing in my body. I was shocked & quite pissed to find out that pain was 90% better, like doctor couldnt tell me that pain meds over years of use could do that to me. just an idea to chew on if others dont work. But i also agree with all of the above answers too. good luck
