I have chronic fatigue with my fibromyalgia. My doctor prescribed strattera to help me stay awake. Has anyone taken that and, if so, were there side effects and did it work?
Hi DaniGan, I noticed your question and have a recommendation for you. I've had serious trouble with fibro and chronic fatigue for, up until recently, about 20 years. I started with a new doctor several months ago, and he put me on a combination of: 50mg Savella twice a day, 75mg Lyrica twice a day, and 4mg Tizanidine once at bedtime. I've also been taking methadone for many years, but though that helped with pain, it never seemed to help the fatigue problem. I have to tell you that I was totally surprised when, after just a couple of days, my chronic fatigue issues seemed to miraculously disappear! I am currently feeling better than I can ever recall, due to this combination of meds. I strongly suggest that if your present medication does not provide you with relief, you ask your doctor to try the meds I listed. Best of luck to you with this very difficult problem, keemo7
