i was diagnosed fibromyalgia about 2 years ago doc tried several meds i had to have an emergency appendectamy they sent me home with percocet it didnt fully relieve my pain but made the pain tolerable because pain was less my mood was much better friends and coworkers noticed a difference doc says the only way he can help is to send me to a pain clinic 40 miles away that i would have to drive to everyday to pic up the days worth of meds
Percocet has oxycodone in it, so, of course it helped with your pain. It is pretty strong, I have never heard of anyone having to drive to a clinic everyday to get it, though, that sounds like methadone. Most people don't realize that methadone actually is a long acting strong pain medicine that properly taken, works well. You probably will have to go to a pain management doctor to get this medication on a regular basis.
