... won't allow me to get Lyrica and I can't afford it
Yes, this is my treatment for my severe chronic pain. I cannot afford lyrica either. I will not lie and say it works wonderfully, but it helps a little to take the edge off.
Good luck to you. What milligrams of gabapentin are you taking? I take 600 mg 3 or 4 times a day.
I take soma and neurontin for various issues, one of which is fibro. Cymbalta can be helpful for some, I take the generic and it works okay for me. I have scoliosis. arthritis in my spine, many bad discs etc, so I take exalgo er for the pain, which doesn't really handle it all for me. I am scheduled for spinal surgery later this month to repair the curvature and fix the discs, so I'm hoping my pain level will be much more manageable. My doc just insisted I take an anti-inflammatory for the arthritis and fibro. Maybe some on these ideas could help you. Often it takes a medley of meds to do the trick, and almost everything I take now is generic, thank goodness!
