So I have to see a doctor? Or will it be fine if I go through it by myself?
Yes, you should really see your Dr. You want to make sure that all of the contents of conception were passed. If any tissue is retained, it can cause bleeding and/or infection so it is important to see a gynecologist for follow up. If you are Rh negative and your partner is positive and you plan to try again, you need to get an injection of a blood product called Rh immune globulin. The immune globulin prevents your body from producing Rh antibodies during your pregnancy. I, too, am so sorry for your loss! I also want to say that if you have trouble emotionally that you talk to a therapist. Women who lose babies can be prone to post partum depression too, plus the emotional feelings that come with such a loss. If you find yourself having trouble dealing, then you should seek help for that too. Good luck!
