... I read about spinal stimulation? , I have Dgenerative disc disease and the doctors want to decrease my patch and I have been on the same dose for 8 years.no increases. Same forever, if they are concerned now, should we not be looking for a more permanent solution?
Depends on the level of degeneration. Mine is about as bad as it gets, completely disintegrated discs L5-S1, my good pain days are 7+ on a 10 scale.
No matter what, the meds will only help a little. Most folks become less mobile when diet and low impact exercise (walking) are the way to go, as the circulation back there is already naturally low.

I have been on fentanyl 150 mcg for 6 years my Dr has given me gabapentin 300 mg 2 a day is this ok?
