I have put bandages over them but if I get hot or sweaty they just fall off.
I had to stop using Fentanyl for this very reason. If you use the brand name Duragesic you can call the company to get adhesive overlays that can help the patch stay on better. They did help me but I still couldnt keep them on for more than a day or two if I was lucky. If you take the generic you can buy the overlays. They are called bioadhesive dressings but they are expensive. I tried using all kinds of tapes and they either did not stick, or the patch "puffed" up in the middle so the drug was not contacting the skin or the tape caused blistering or a rash. I still bear a scar to this day on my chest from trying to use Fentanyl. The best thing I tried was the overlays but even that didnt work well enough to be worth it to me. I hope you have better luck! The fentanyl worked great when I could get them to stick!
Try Glad press and seal, I know it sounds crazy but I used it to keep the bandages on my brother in laws wound from cancer surgery. The health care nurse told me about it. Sometimes it will come off to with sweat and watch to make sure you don't get a rash from it. It was better than using tape for him. Just a thought.
