One time I had the urge to open my mouth as hard as possible, I kept it open and kept pushing my jaw open harder and harder (I wasn't using my hands, just my jaw muscles) until my head started feeling weird. When I stopped, I felt dizzy and very wobbly, it felt like I was having a seizure. What could've been happening to my body while I was doing the mouth thing?
Maybe you were so focused on dislocating your jaw you forgot to breathe? Or your jaw bone hit your inner ear bits that have you vertigo fluids and wobbled you about. I can pop my ears, like in an aeroplane, by opening my mouth so makes sense ^_^ as for the urge to open your mouth like that, maybe there was a bubble that needed popping, cos when I do the ear pop thing I don't really think about it, just do. Hope that helps. ^_^
