Hi I am currently taking Methylphenid but it seems to be causing depression maybe.I'm no longer social nor do I leave home much.I really just wanted to drop a few pounds and have energy and motivation again. I was perscribed Fasten years ago in my 20's and it worked wonderful but now Drs dont want to perscribe due to the dangers, but same side effects in meds i'm taking now plus possible depression etc.It seems fasten would be better for wieght loss.
Hello rkmartin. Fasten is phentertrmine, a drug specifically manufactured for weight loss. Concerta is perscribed for ADHD. However a side effect to taking this drug is weight loss. Many people take this drug (off label) meaning possibly just for lose in weigh. Fasten is meant to be taken for the short term only. Because of possible serious side effects. Blood pressure increased being only is one. The longer on Fasten the less it works. Usually after two week period of time, be it with or without results. the drug is stopped. Regard pledge
