I was recently prescribed Clydamycin and I wasn't aware that a family history of liver issues needed to be shared. My father had ulcerative colitis. Is it ok to keep taking the prescription? I have only taken one dose but am concerned about the antibiotic.
I have a family history of colitis and was prescribed Clydamycin should I stop taking it?

I have read up on the antibiotic and have heard some negative things and that it is recommended by people to ask for a different antibiotic. I'm currently taking it to treat a pilonidal cyst.
